PATIL PRAKASH
Prof. Prakash J. Patil is a distinguished academician and the Head of the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering. With over 28 years of teaching experience, he has made significant contributions to the field of education and research. He holds an M-Tech degree from JNTU Kakinada and has published twenty research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences.
Prof. Patil has been actively involved in organizing and delivering short-term courses, seminars, workshops, and expert lectures. His expertise extends to guiding undergraduate and postgraduate students in academic projects, research paper presentations, project exhibitions, and poster competitions. Beyond teaching and research, he has played a pivotal role in student development through career counseling and mentorship. He has efficiently managed several additional responsibilities, including serving as the Training and Placement Officer (TPO), JKC Coordinator (IEG JKC), and Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for various industry-academic initiatives such as the Infosys Campus Connect Program, IEG-JKC Soft Skills Program, and AICTE/Affiliation-related work.
Prof. Patil is an active member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) Telangana Chapter and has been recognized in the IEEE "Who’s Who in the World" for his academic contributions. His commitment to academic excellence is further demonstrated through his compilation of multiple choice question banks for various ECE subjects for AICTE, New Delhi. As an author, Prof. Patil has contributed to the field of engineering education by publishing the book "Communication Engineering", released by Spectrum Publications, Hyderabad. His dedication to academic excellence, research, and student mentorship makes him a valuable contributor to technical education and publishing.
